Adopt a School

Celebrate! Maya Project's 2015 Adopted School

We work with Arkansas schools to incorporate Ms. Angelou’s extraordinary literary and human rights work into the learning experiences and opportunities for Arkansas’ school-age children, with a special focus on young girls. This year we are excited to partner with Dumas New Tech High School.

Poetry Contest

Maya Angelou's grandson, Elliott Jones, and 2014 Maya Angelou poetry contest winners, Quinneyah Falks, Savannah Aultman, Unknown, Uknown

We offer the Maya Angelou poetry contests in Stamps and the Celebrate! Maya `adopted’ school. Click here to read last year's winning poem.

Scholarship Program
